Bryson delivers a range of Skills Based Training programmes, including:
Skills for Life and Work
Bryson currently deliver the Skills for Life and Work on behalf of the Department for the Economy. This is a vocational training programme for young adults aged 16/17 years of age and school leavers with extended age eligibility for young people with a disability up to 22 years of age and up to 24 years of age for those from an in-care background.
We have many years’ experience of delivering the key elements of the common curriculum of essential skills, personal and social development, employability and professional & technical skills that lead to regulated qualifications. The programme is designed to enable participants gain qualifications in each of the programmes curricular areas and progress to higher level training /employment by providing training to address personal an social development needs, develop occupational knowledge and employability skills and develop Essential Skills of literacy, numeracy and information technology (ICT).
Bryson is contracted to deliver qualifications in the following 10 Professional and Technical areas:
- Bricklaying
- Business Administration
- Catering
- Childcare
- Hairdressing
- Health and Social Care
- IT
- Joinery
- Retail
- Playwork
There are no entry requirements to join. Programme benefits include:

ApprenticeshipsNI
Bryson currently deliver the ApprenticeshipsNI Programme on behalf of the Department for the Economy. ApprenticeshipsNI is an employment programme providing apprentices with the knowledge, understanding, and competence to work at a high level in their chosen occupation.
Programme benefits include permanent remunerative employment, opportunities for progression to further and higher education and training, bonuses, incentives, pastoral care support and enhanced employment opportunities.
